Build Status and Explaining the Curtains

The first basic score is done ... so know to the "curtains". This will "look" easy but will be kinda tricky.

Basically "curtains" will be about 100 meters wide, and raised/lowered up to the 300 meter mark. The curtains are rows and columns of "temp" prims. Then temp prims (strips) are similiar to the old "swirly" thing that came out of the water ... but are designed to be much more "stable". Also the curtains "flow" based on impulse signals which can change (similiar to the vehicle). The curtain strips are primarily phantom (there is a small object which is linked physical). .... Now comes the tricky part ....

The voice track of the opera will be placed in the "curtains" (i.e. computational fabric). As the sound track is going, when the passenger dance vehicles "pass" thru the curtains ... the voice samples will be triggered (i'll probably trigger inside the vehicle for speed reasons and lower my sensor count). the "type" of curtain will trigger different sounds (i.e. the words of the opera).

ok ... so here's a scene example ... a flowing fabric is being released at 150 meters on the north side of the sim ... and is hitting the water on the south side of the sim. As pieces of the fabric hit the vehicle, the vehicle will trigger sound clips (which are the voice track of the opera). since i'll have a sequence with timers, and remotely i will have AI keep sequence of the track ... the singing will go close to in sequence to the opera.

What does this mean to builders ... well ... though the fabric looks big ... and strips of the fabric are big ... only the small invisible physical prims will impact the sculptures. I need to keep the sculptures as much as possible from snagging the fabric.
